Liberty Seated Dollar
Around eight years of low business strike mintages for Liberty Seated Dollars lasting from 1861 up until 1868 eventually led to an increased production in 1869. The mintage allowed collectors to acquire Seated Dollars more affordably, but the increase in mintage should not confuse collectors to believe that this date is common. These 1869 Seated Liberty Dollars are elusive in any grade, but is much rarer and one of the rarest in Mint States. This particular example, however, derives value from its attractively toned surface. The specimen exhibits cobalt blue interlaced with sunset pink along with sandy yellow over silver. With only an estimate of only 2,500 today, this specimen is a CAC POP of 1 with 26 finer. With CAC Seated Dollar increasing in value tremendously we can't recommend a better piece.
