1868-S H10C AU50 PCGS

Popular San Francisco Half Dime, 1868-S from a mintage of 280,000, 400 are known today in all grades. Despite the low number of survivors, the majority of survivors exist around AU55 to MS64. The current circulated example is unique in its breathtaking flurry of colors seen on the obverse and reverse, from molten blue and red to sun-yellow and sky blue. Even at AU50 this coin has some luster remaining and has excellent eye appeal.
