1865-S 10C VF25 PCGS

This highly toned and popular 1865-S 10C originates with a mintage of 175,000 issues including a current survival estimate of only 250 in all grades. We strongly advise to not overlook this rare post Civil War issue from the San Francisco Mint. Apart from having only a few survivors remaining, the date itself is rare out of all grades combined with non-toned VF25 PCGS and non-toned VF30 NGC pieces selling for $600-$700. The color of this specimen exhibits beautiful iridescent hues around the obverse of the coin which transitions vividly from neon green to fuchsia pink to the bright amber-like yellow center. The reverse on the other hand, emits colors that transition from the bottom towards the top with small mixtures of forest green to marigold yellow and to ash gray. Such a beautiful undervalued coin is one not to be missed.
