Whilst no relevant comp exists, one grade lower non cac au53 is selling for $21,500, whilst an ngc ms61 slider non cac for $37,600 01/17. If a collector or investor so desires a near finest choice original 1865 philadelphia mint $5 this is the best available option. The example is totally fresh, un-messed with with yellow-greenish hue with substantial luster for an au example. A few copper spots are noted near the date only the add validity to the behemoth of character and rarity this date represents.
