1862 3CS MS67+ NGC

Condition Census, Tied For Second Finest, 1862 Three Cent Silver. This is a gorgeous example at a fraction of the PCGS MS67+ cost which have sold for between $21,000-$30,000. With superbly attractive cobalt blue, pink-rose and apricot hues, this coin is all there. The toning occurred from an old finger print likely from when it was just minted about 160 years ago perhaps from members of the mint that has since oxidized and thus attractively toned as is commonly seen. Very choice and mark free. Destined for a top registry set.
