Near Finest Key Date Copper Nickel 1862 Indian Head Cent. PCGS 12/5. CAC 6/0. A Top Condition Census example and one of the most attractive 1862 1C at that. Last and only MS67 PCGS CAC to sell was for $26,400 08/21 HA with MS67+ PCGS CAC also selling at $21,600 04/21 HA & $24,000 08/19 HA. Similarly, 1861 1C MS67 PCGS CAC has also sold for $18,000 04/21 HA and 18,600 01/21 HA both of which lack the eye appeal and color this example presents. This example, however, as one can tell right away blasts any comparable in terms of eye appeal and color. Lucid pink diamond hues envelops both the obverse and reverse with no hints or sign of any blemish. The luster is un-ending and also further pops as the pink glares when rotated. The coin will absolutely not disappoint and we would even say it looks even better in hand. No doubt we feel at a public auction this should bring north of $20,000's.
