In 2020, we were able to place some incredibly toned liberty half, but with 2021, we have been fortunate to acquire some marvelous and deeply toned 3CS examples. 1861 3CS is a wonderful date with several listed in high grades; however, few are cac approved with unbelievable colors such as this. The offered example has 3 main colors: sky blue, empress purple and tan cream. With these, the colors create a perfect mismatch of colors that blends well. This fresh to the market example has never sold, and can be compared to other toned 1861 3CS cac sales, a pcgs ms67 $18,000 06/20 SB, and a pcgs ms67 cac a few years prior $9,106 01/18 LE, neither of which are as dazzling as the current offered example in our opinion.
