1861 3CS MS66 OH NGC CAC

Superb Three Cent Silver type coin, 1861 3CS is readily available in all grades up till MS67. Housed in a OLD Fatty Soap Box holder, this great example sparkling with luster over some envelope toning is a specimen of excellence. Thoroughly under-graded in our opinion with no marks or hits seen. Last 2 CAC sales were for $1,440 (dark) and $1,920, neither of which was in an OLD Holder nor as under-graded in our opinion. We can see spirited bidding for this piece at auction.
