1861 25C PR65 PCGS CAC

Superb Civil War issue with deep mirrors over startling aqua blue colors envelops both sides. From a small mintage of just 1,000 pieces, there are approximately 350 known today in all grades. This phenomenally eye appealing example interestingly is one of the only PR65 to have been offered in the past 2 decades, making us believe that the POP 6 clearly represents some duplicates as there are only 2 CAC PR65 certified with only 1 finer. The date is rare and is not commonly found in grade above PR63. A truly rare date for the issue with the highest of quality and eye appeal as it dances with deep champagne and rainbow colors.
