1859-O $1 XF45 PCGS CAC

Originating from the New Orleans Mint, this 1859-O Seated Liberty Dollar is a beautiful authentic piece with an outstanding look. The way its surface is nicely preserved makes it a great example of the circulated seated dollars. It is a sublime that is visually appealing to the eye. Out of the 360,000 pieces that were struck, some were circulated, including this specimen, while others were left uncirculated. Today, it is speculated that the number of circulated and uncirculated coins are equal, thus making this a very oddly intriguing piece altogether. A similar CAC XF45 example sold for $1,140 two years ago, 10/22 HA. The CAC Price Guide today is currently at $1,230, but one would be hard-pressed to find at such a level today. This piece represents a lot of bang for buck and shows what a Circ Seated Dollar should look like.
