1858 25C PR64 PCGS CAC

Early proof liberty seated quarters are one of the rarest. In fact these sell for high 5 figures from the 1840's, yet the 50's despite small mintages do not command yet the huge mark up as their predecessors. The present example come from a mintage 100! CAC Pop 2, with 1 other comp an NGC PR64 CAC that sold for $3,600. The present example is a superbly toned issue with neon blue to tan silver centers. A non-cac pcgs plus pr64 example sold for $3,600 04/21 HA, thus we believe this is an approximately $3,500 coin.
