1858 1C SMALL LETTERS MS64 NGC PHOTO SEAL

1858 1C Flying Eagle Small Letters is from a short run series from 1856-1858. CAC approved MS64 sell for approximately $2,000 with the last NGC CAC at $2,200 02/22 HA. Whilst we were surprised that this coin did not CAC, the coin is unique for its attractive toning. Likely stored over a century in sulphur envelopes or similar, the coin exhibits attractive pink-blue salmon over tones on the obverse with purple to soft pink colors on the reverse. Any toned aficionado knows and understands the huge demand and rarity of toned flying eagle, as such throw away all your comps, which there are none, for this affordable toned flying eagle example.
