Offered is a AU charlotte gold dollar. From a mintage of 13,280, less than 175 have survived today in all grades. Of these 175 two or three uncirculated examples are known, whilst most survivors are VF or XF quality. As per Doug Winter, this is among the toughest charlotte gold dollar to find with good eye appeal and command large premiums, as they arrive with many planchet flaws and severe clash marks.
