Glowing luster, fully original and un-dipped orange gold hues describe this Liberty Quarter Eagle. Sharp details with just a few ticks that hold this back from a GEM grade. The eye appeal is fantastic more so the luster. From a mintage of 384240, 550 are known today with this a near Condition Census. PCGS Pop 3 with only a few finer. In fact, CAC has only approved 2 finer. No high grade 1856-S $2.5 has sold in the past five years except for a 65 PCGS CAC for $10,281 12/21 LE. A high value rarity and one with great eye appeal.
