1856 1C FLYING EAGLE S-3 PR64 PCGS CAC EEPS

This particular example resides within the mid-die state of the Snow-3 progression and is among the earliest strikes following the polishing of the dies, evidenced by the presence of distinct vertical die polishing lines on the reverse—a unique diagnostic not observed other S-3 specimens. The devices showcase pronounced cameo contrast against deeply mirrored fields, the result of highly polished dies, lending the coin a prooflike appearance though not designated. The assigned grade of PR64 accounts for a few light marks—amplified by the reflective fields—the piece delivers the eye appeal and technical quality of a true Gem Proof.
