1855-S ARROWS 50C VF25 PCGS

One of the rarest dates for the type, Arrows on the date seen on the obverse for this short run series from 1853-1855. With about 500 known today in all grades, this date has been readily collected by Type collectors and because of its low mintage these are highly sought and expensive. The current example certified VF25 has all the details present and has an attractive rainbow toning seen around the peripheries both on the obverse and reverse. Though not a perfect coin, the coin is popular and will be a great filler for this tough series for a toned collector.
