1853 $10 AU58 CACG

1853 Liberty Head $10 gold eagle is a fascinating piece from a mintage of 201,253 only 550 specimens remain, making it rare in today's market. At AU58 these become incredibly difficult to locate with original surface. Only 2 AU58s are certified by CACG with 30 at CAC and only 6 finer in pcgs cac. A CAC-certified AU58 specimen sold for $3,120 in November 2023, but since then with increased strong CAC bids these have gone up in value. Coins with original surfaces, vivid luster, and sharp details, such as this piece are highly desirable. An underrated and conditional rarity date.
