1852-D $5 AU53 PCGS CAC

Offered is a shockingly under-graded Dahlonega Liberty Half Eagle. 1852-D $5 is a very tough issue to find with clean surfaces as most are heavily abraded, yet the surfaces of this example is immaculate with only the slightest hint of wear over fully struck details. Roughly only 300 are known today in all grades. An interesting note is doubling is seen through the legends of this coin on the reverse. A superb CAC example for those who value eye appeal on Dahlonega half eagles.
