1798 1C 2ND HAIR STYLE P01 PCGS CAC

This 1798 Draped Bust Large Cent, Second Hairstyle, is an excellent candidate for a Low Ball registry set. Pop 1 CAC for this date and one of only 14 Poor 1 CAC for the entire Draped Bust Series. Despite its well-worn condition, the coin remains exceptionally smooth, with most design elements still visible, including all four digits of the date. This piece is a remarkable find for collectors of early American numismatics, particularly those focused on low-ball sets. A similar 1798 1C 2ND HAIR P01 without CAC endorsement sold for $840 in June 2023, whilst in VF and higher this will climb to 4 figures quickly.
