The 1852 Liberty Seated Quarter certified MS-62 (PCGS) with CAC approval is a sharply struck and fully Mint State example that presents with refined originality and pleasing visual balance. Struck during a year with a mintage of 177,060 pieces and subject to heavy attrition from mid-19th-century silver melting, the issue is assigned a Rarity-5 rating in Mint State by Larry Briggs, with an estimated surviving Mint State population of approximately 475 pieces. This is a handsome, original example with smooth in-hand appearance and strong eye appeal, further supported by a CAC population of just 2 approved at MS-62 with only 8 finer. With a CAC Value of $2,500 today, these P-Mint are incredibly tough. Considering VF35 CAC are selling for approximately a $1,000, we cant recommend this example enough.
