Though not as rare as some other New Orleans $10 including 1842-o $10, 1850-O $10 is relatively speaking very rare with only 200 known in all grades from a mintage of 57,500, a survivor rate of 0.347%. Generally speaking 1850-O $10 are poorly struck with fuzzy details, heavily abraded surfaces and a washed look. Nonetheless, the offered coin is sharply struck for the issue with close to no abrasion for the grade.
