Single Lowest Graded PCGS POP 1 and CAC POP 1 New Orleans $10. 1846/'5' $10 is a popularly collected overdate, though most 1846-O $10 were succumb to commerce, as such finding original and unstripped surface are even rare than the coin itself. There are only 10 CAC certified out of all grades from both grading companies. This present example has no PCGS Price Guide and no auction comps, but the next certified grade a F15 has a Price Guide of $2,500. The present piece with original, worn Dirty Old Gold look, is a perfect Lowball that will end up in a great collection.
