In recent years, there has been an astounding demand for Liberty Seated Dollars, particularly for coins that boast exceptional eye appeal and originality—they are swiftly acquired once they hit the market. This example is expected to follow suit, aligning with the high standards set by its counterparts. The PCGS TrueView for this coin is remarkable, highlighting its distinctive and vibrant toning; however, it doesn't show the originality and depth as much as our close up image does. The obverse surfaces displays vivid toning that spans from ocean blue to russet brown and light olive green. On the reverse, you'll find an authentic mottled toning characterized by shades of light yellow and chestnut brown. The coin exhibits a sharp strike, with subtle semi-reflective qualities evident in the fields. Despite a mintage exceeding 100,000, the number of extant coins is fewer than 4,000. Many coins from the same year fail to match the eye appeal or grade of the featured example, further emphasizing its rarity and desirability. There are no comparable examples with this type of eye appeal, except for a AU58+ non-CAC for $3,840 03/23 ST.
