The 1845 Liberty Seated Quarter is a scarce Mint State issue that becomes genuinely rare at the MS64+ level. Despite a slightly larger mintage, this coin shines firstly for its condition census level but also for being incredibly attractive. The coin retains strong, well-preserved luster that glows beneath a dramatic yet fully natural toning profile, with both sides enveloped in deep steel-blue and slate-blue hues accented by flashes of electric blue, pale aqua, and soft cyan that shift dynamically with the light. Warmer undertones of light amber, coppery bronze, and muted rose-gold appear as well. With just one CAC-approved example finer, this coin is the best example we can recommend for pre-1853 silver type.
