Popular Liberty Seated Dime 1839 10c No Drapery typically comes well struck and is available in almost all grades. From a mintage of 1,053,115, approximately 1,000 are known today in all grades. Of the 1,000, 200 are uncirculated. PCGS shows 30 graded at MS63 and cites a Price Guide of $1,100. Looking at the past sales at MS63 we see some darker examples typically selling in the $900-$1,000 region, none of which was attractively toned. The present example attractively displays a myraid of bright orange, teal, and green on the obverse, whilst the reverse more in concentrac like pattern of the same colors. An eye appealing example that in today's market will sell for a strong premium.
