HM-6 (R.3) This 1836 Classic Head half eagle, graded AU58 by NGC and approved by CAC, represents one of the short-lived type. Truly high-end exemplar examples such as this remain increasingly elusive, with an estimated 1,150 pieces extant across all grades. The coin displays a richly original orange-gold complexion with subtle honeyed highlights, whilst its surfaces retain absolutely blinding underlying luster that radiates through out.
