Superbly Toned GEM AU 1831 Capped Bust Half Dime. With royal purple and turquoise encasing the this stunning half dime, this example has an abundance of luster with close to no wear we can see. Why this isn't UNC remains a mystery; nonetheless, it is exquisitely toned and thus we have no qualms calling is a GEM AU. Very rarely seen in AU with such colors, and often command great premiums.
