1831 10C AU58 NGC

Big sister to our also toned 1831 H10C AU58 NGC available, this 1831 Capped Bust Dime from a mintage 771,350, 1,500 exist today. With a CU Price Guide of $900, this 1831 10C has some incredible colors that has to be seen to be appreciated - the fields show a deep sea-blue, while the devices a lighter shade surrounded by the peripheries by purple and yellow. The reverse a mixture of colors gracefully transitioning from one to the other. The obverse fields show some hints of old cleaning, but the coin is very attractive nonetheless. Toned circulated Capped Bust Dimes and Half Dimes are incredibly sought after and this represents a great value over a small premium of un-toned coins.
