1818 25C AU50 PCGS CAC

Tough to find and hardly ever available for sale, Capped Bust Quarter are mostly available oddly enough in high grades. Finding collector grade Capped Bust Quarters with eye appeal, color and CAC approval is highly challenging. No CAC 1818 in AU has sold in AU50,53 or 55 in the past 7 years, with the last being a AU55 PCGS CAC for $3,995 08/16 HA. The present example, like many other great coins, has a reverse that is likely 3 or 4 grades higher with significant luster. Beautifully toned on both sides, thus coin will not last long.
