Key & Popular Red Book variety 1814 50C Single Leaf O-105a is known to all Bust Nut Collectors and NON Capped Bust Half Collectors. Due to extreme die polishing most 1814 50C lack being fully struck and as a result born was the Single Leaf popular variety. Beyond this coin's popularity and rarity, this example is also attractively toned for this type which because of the die preservation is not seen with high eye-appeal. Forest Green paints the surface whilst splashes of color dance in between devices from halloween orange to teal blue. Price Guide of $1,500, this is no common VF35 and there are certainly no CAC comps. A AU50 PCGS non-CAC but toned example sold 09/2021 for $5,523 for its color. This has all you need, superb eye appeal, toning and CAC approval.
