1814/3 50C XF45 PCGS GOLD CAC

Gold CAC, Bust Half, Attractive toning and an important 1814/3 overdate make this coin the definition of having all the bells and whistle. Halloween-orange fills the coin perfectly evenly on both surrounding the devices creating a halo-like effect as attractive sea-green peak between the date. Significant luster is present whilst character defining clash marks are seen. Some strike weakness is noted on the reverse feather as well as some toning on the high point, all of which are commonly seen on 1814/3 and was likely confused for wear. We grade this AU55. Two comps are seen, an AU50 PCGS CAC example that sold for $3,360 09/23 HA, whilst an AU55 PCGS CAC for $3,480 01/22 HA. No doubt a must have and you will not be disappointed.
