Capped Bust Half Dollar
1813 Bust Half Dollar isn't considered a rare date per se as it can be obtained readily in all grades. This, however, does not mean it is common. It is still pricey even in the lowest of grades and in VF or finer finding a choice CAC example with toning can be a near impossible combination to find. The present example is a O-108. R.3 or R.4 and has everything going for it: original surface surrounded by eclectic blue peripheral toning over softer pink centers. No marks or hits are noted and the strike is complete. The eye appeal phenomenal with just honest wear. It is also a . The last VF35 CAC sold for $810 09/23 HA, whilst an NGC XF40 CAC O-108 sold for $960 02/22 HA. Comparing the comps this coin with its toning and R.4 variety this seems like a great value buy.
