PCGS Pop 2. CAC Pop 1. Second lowest graded example and the lowest CAC approved example. Not only is this the first year of issue of Fat Head Capped Bust Half Eagle it is also the most popular and collected date for the series. Capped Bust Half Eagles are incredibly rare and expensive to acquire regardless of the grade, CAC, or grading company; however, finding a CAC example under $10,000 is a near impossible feat. The series requires a big purse with a minimum of 5 figure for attractive problem free coins. We are pleased to offer this choice VF example in an usually seen grade. We've seen XF with less details, but this coin has superb original surface and for a series such as this that is key. No relevant comps are noted, except for a NON- CAC PCGS XF40 08/21 for $7,200 which is clearly not an A quality coin. Price Guide of $6,000. This opportunity will not present itself again.
