Perhaps one of our favorite year, 1807 not only represents a plethora of historical significance during the beginning years of the United States, but numismatically it is also a significant year as the transition period for different design types changes, giving birth to what was to come in the remaining century. This 1807 50C Draped Bust example does not posses the typical text book circulated look, but has the circulated cameo look. A tough coin with an even tougher look.
