1807 10C XF40 PCGS CAC

The Draped Bust Dime started in 1796 and ended in 1807. This piece is the final year with 165,000 minted, before being replaced by the Capped Bust design. Given its surplus amount of mintages compared to other dates, only 1,000 survivors are available today. Refined steel grey patina along with some clash marks are visible around the date of this specimen as it is on all 1807 10c. This one is among the one that standout delivering superb eye appeal with no detracting marks. This remarkable specimen is the CAC approval for the grade a pop 1. An XF45 PCGS CAC would cost $5,500+, with no CAC in surrounding grades having sold. A great opportunity to be in possession of a remarkable coin with a piece of numismatic history.
