1806 50C POINTED 6 STEM XF45 PCGS CAC

Exceptional Steel Blue Grey Draped Bust Half Dollar isn't a commonly used term. Whilst we see Steel Grey frequently or the occasional toned Draped Bust Half, the combination of these two with CAC is a sight to behold. The strike is a tad soft as commonly seen, but the eye appeal and sky blue toning drives this home. Looking at the fields, the toning is reminiscent glaring straight at the sky. Comparatively, no toned XF45 has sold, though a toned AU50 PCGS CAC sold for $3,840 01/23 HA. The toning and eye appeal of this out shines the AU50 CAC and perhaps will bring close to that price in a spirited auction.
