This PCGS graded 1805 Draped Bust Quarter (Heraldic Eagle) Quarter is rare in all grades. Even in the lowest grades these become expensive. Very few examples are CAC endorsed and feature incredibly attractive toning as this specimen. Even with moderate circulation the devices standout on a fabric of rich color. The reverse features a unique peripheral target toning pattern that fades into a silvery eagle. The obverse exhibits crimson reds that bleed into an ocean blue center making Miss Liberty standout all the better. 1805 saw several advancements that would shape the future including the Erie Canal's construction, the first steamboat journey down the Mississippi and the first public school in New York City. Beyond that this example is superb and 1 recent CAC comp exists which sold for an incredible $3,840 06/23 ST, and in our opinion this is better by a mile!
