All Draped Bust Heraldic Eagle Half Dime are rare. Spanning only for 6 years, 1800-1805, this type is incredibly popular and mostly collected in Lowball conditions. 1801 H10C is relatively in expensive, as other days are uber rare 6-figure like the 1802 H10C. PCGS estimates 250 1801 H10C are known in all grades; however, most are bent, holed or damaged; we further see this by how only 72 PCGS and 22 NGC are certified in all grades including resubmissions. Of the sub 100 known, there have been only 9 that has been approved by CAC in all grades! NO CAC or PCGS comps are seen, in fact, no NGC comp is also noted within the past 16 years. PCGS lists a Price Guide of $1,450 though we believe this not updated. There has been no CAC sale in any grade in the past decade except an AU58 PCGS CAC and the MS66+ PCGS CAC, 5 and 6 figures coins respectfully. The closest and most relevant APR is a NON-CAC PCGS VG08 PCGS $1,740 10/21 HA, which was by no means choice or original. This is one of the lowest graded example with only 2 certified lower, none of which is CAC. A great coin for the type and year.
