Rare date in all grades with even the lowest of conditions selling for more than a $1,000, the last F12 a non attractively toned non-cac sold for $2,160 10/2021 HA and in AU58 for over $60,000. 1801 50c is not only a rare date it is also a conditional rarity as most entered circulation. Despite this, the example presented here is far from normal. While it is thoroughly circulated, the details appear to be of a higher grade. Surrounded by extremely attractive toning around the peripheries, the coin boasts neon blue to crimson red hues as it pops regardless of whether under the light or not. An attractive example meant for the toned aficionados.
