A lovely turn of the century half dime
V-1, LM-1, R.3. The second 0 in the date nearly touches the lower drapery, and the 1 is quite close to the lowest hair curl. The 8 in the date is the tallest of the digits, with a ropelike appearance caused by thickness of the strokes. This charming MS62 example offers light silver-gray surfaces with somewhat muted luster and splashes of amber patina throughout. CAC POP 1. PCGS POP 6. Price Guide $16,500.
