1799 $10 LARGE STARS XF45 OGH RATTLER PCGS CAC

This 1799 Capped Bust Right Eagle BD-10 graded XF45 by PCGS and approved by CAC, is housed in an Old “Rattler” holder and represents an infrequently encountered certified grade for this demanding early Heraldic Eagle gold type. The Large Obverse Stars surface exhibit a deep olive-gold complexion accented by subtle medium-orange and faint pinkish-rose highlights. Wear is even and honest, with no sizable or individually distracting marks, lending the coin an unusually smooth and original appearance for a Draped Bust Eagle that would have seen heavy commercial use. Highly sought after in a rattler holder.
