Draped Bust Dollar
Draped Bust Dollars have been a favorite of ours for a long time. Though they typically come unattractive many of which are dark with steel-grey patina, the present Heraldic Eagle $1 is by no means a common coin due to its attractive toning uncommonly seen on circulated Draped Bust Dollars. With a PCGS Price Guide of $2,500, and no comps for toned examples, except for a slightly toned VF20 $3,200 07/21 DL, this specimen has stunning and unique peripheral toning seen on the obverse with liquid toned pastel pattern of rainbow. The reverse is deeply toned with blood-red in the fields whilst in between devices we see bright aqua blue hues. A silver master piece where you should and will have to throw away any comps.
