1794 50C F15 OGH PCGS

The 1794 Flowing Hair Half Dollar in PCGS F15, housed in an Old Green Holder, represents a premium-toned example of this foundational early federal issue, with an estimated survival of approximately 1,200 pieces across all grades. Firstly this coin is a 1794 50C, secondly this is an OGH, thirdly in our opinion this is atleast a VF20. Beyond all of that, this coins’ focal point belongs to its incredible vivid blue and red toning with shades of green and yellow interplay that flawless makes this a masterpiece. If any help is needed this is also a O-101a (R.3). This coin has never reached auction before, and there are no relevant comps. Another example of this date and color will likely never show up again for sale.
