The 1794 Liberty Cap Right Half Cent, C-4a with Small Edge Letters, Low Relief (R-3),  is a highly desirable early copper survivor from the second year of federal half cent production and an especially wholesome PCGS VF20 CAC example. Both sides display deeply original olive-brown to dark steel and milk-chocolate coloration, with smooth, problem-free surfaces that are notably attractive for an issue so often encountered with roughness or environmental impairment. Evidence suggests a later die state, adding further interest for die-state specialists within the Cohen variety framework. PCGS# should be 35036. Incredibly tough for circulated CAC with a CAC Price Guide of $4,500. No CAC sale exists; however a VF25 PCGS CAC for the exact same type sold for $6,600 02/26 SB against a $5,000 CAC value. With PCGS Price Guide $4,600 for this example and an important type coin, one would be hard pressed to find another available example in the years to come, as the only prior CAC sale was in 2022 for a VG10 PCGS CAC for $3,120 04/22 SB.
