1793 Chain Cent is the first ever large cent that was minted by the United States Mint for circulation and it is also the only design of its type. Extremely popular issue that is always in demand and highly collectible to collectors and enthusiasts alike. Compared to other PO1 this in our opinion is actually more of a FR02; however, this is one of the few times we are happy with a lower grade. It is an uber popular Type Coin with only 502 pieces estimated to remain today in all grades from a mintage of 36,103.
