Bright Crescent Toned Morgan. Some of the most challenging aspects to find in a great crescent toner is a crescent with razor sharp definition, bright color, and a clean problem-free look. This example checks all the boxes. It has a gorgeous crescent of color cascading over and in front of Liberty's face with a textbook display of the bag-toned color pattern within its various bands. This toning was caused by another coin sitting atop this one preventing part of it from toning. This second coin never moved a millimeter, resulting in a razor sharp pattern. The bright neon colors below Liberty's chin where the toning arcs up slightly are especially captivating, as is the blending of different colors in the word LIBERTY in the profile. The obverse is very clean for the grade with an exceptional strike for an 84-O. Nice luster further brings out the beautiful colors.
