Early copper posses tremendous history within its rank. As such EAC is one of the most sought after numismatics materials within the entire US scope. Like other Draped Bust Half Cents, which spanned only from 1800-1808, but make up 18 different red book type to be collected, they are all of equal rarity except 1802. All draped bust half cents are available in brown and circulated conditions; however red examples are most elusive and for many dates do not exist. Of the entire 18 type dates only 3 dates are available in red 1800(4) 1804 ( 1) and this 1806. Of the 356,000 minted in 1806, only 7 are graded red most in low grade, with spots and not cac. At ms63 red this coin has a pop of 4, with the most recent sale of a cac selling for $21,600 08/18 HA. A perfect type coin.
