A CAC-Endorsed Popular Type Coin Gem Indian Eagle

Exceptional Type Coin. Struck during the final full years of Indian Head eagle production, the 1932 issue marked one of America’s most distinctive gold coin designs shortly before the federal gold recall of 1933 led to the melting of vast quantities of U.S. gold coinage. This exceptional Gem displays rich honey-gold coloration with subtle copper-gold accents and very good to excellent mint luster enlivening both sides. Smooth, attractive fields and restrained surface marks further support the desirable MS65 designation, giving the coin excellent overall quality and eye appeal. Although the 1932 is the most accessible Indian eagle in Gem condition, its handsome design, historical significance, and outstanding thick mint luster, make it one of the premier choices for a high-grade gold type set and a standout example destined for an advanced Indian eagle collection. The most recent CAC MS65 auction appearance realized $5,978 09/26 SB, $7,800 02/26 SB & $6,710 01/26 HA. The $7,800 was the James A. Stack example so shouldnt be quoted and the $6,710 was a choice CACG example. The $5,978 had a big black spot on the cheek.
