1878 $1 7 Tail Feather is an incredibly tough and rare date. This piece is fully toned on both sides with gorgeous blues, yellows, purples, and pinks. It is extremely difficult to find any attractive toned Morgan examples of a 78-P 7TF Reverse of 1879. This coin not only has a lofty grade (a white example sells for $1,600 - $2,000), but the 100% toning coverage on the obverse and reverse on a tough toned date make this an excellent piece for a date set or a standalone toned Morgan collection. When toners of this variety do surface, they sell very strong.
